There is really not much to say about today. All we did in class was complete a lab that involves a block of wood. The block of wood was placed at an incline in which it would be able to slide down at a constant velocity to see what forces were acting on it and which force become large enough to move the piece of wood down the incline. For the other trials, a string was attached to the block of wood and the string was passed over the pulley at the end of the inclined. For these trials the angle of the inclined was increased by 10 degrees and we needed to attach enough masses at the free end of the string so that the block will move up the plain with constant velocity when it is only given a slight push to overcome the static friction.
That's about it for my blog post the next scribe will be, DUONG.
